Miami Personal Training FAQ

General Questions

* I'm interested in starting a program. What do I do now?
Call or email us! We'll discuss a bit more in detail what results and what type of a program you are looking for. You can also set up a time for a free in-person consultation with Mark.
* What can I expect during the free consultation?
During the consultation we will assess all of your needs and recommend the right program that will get you the results you want. We'll even explain what changes you will see in your body as you train and when they will happen.
* How much will my program cost?
This will all depend on how much help you need. We will quote you a price during your free consultation which will be base on our per session rate, training frequency, program length, and any additional services you might add to your program.
* Are your trainers certified?
Yes. All of our trainers are certified and/or degreed in a fitness-related field. Additionally, all of our trainers hold current CPR certifications and liability insurance
* How do I pay for my sessions?
Payment for sessions are due PRIOR to the start of your training on a monthly basis. For instance, if you're training two times per week for three months, you will pay for one month of training (8 sessions) each month three times.
* Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. Sessions can be purchased securely and safely through this website via PayPal. We also accept personal checks and cash.
* Do you have a session cancellation policy?
Yes. All sessions must be cancelled/rescheduled within 12 hours of the schedule appointment- otherwise you will lose the session. This policy is in place to make sure you're giving your workouts equal importance in your daily schedule; and that you're taking your sessions serioiusly. The cancellation policy is stricly enforced.
* Personal training can be expensive is there any way to make it more affordable?
Yes. A great way to keep the price of your program down is by signing up for half hour sessions as opposed to hour sessions. Keep in mind, though, that it may be necessary for you to stay after the session is over and complete your training "homework." Also, signing up for an online program and cutting back on your in-person sessions is another way to keep the cost of your program down. This option can be discussed during your free consultation.

In-Home Personal Training

* I don't feel comfortable working out in a gym setting and I don't have a gym where I live. Is it still possible to work out with a trainer at my home?
Yes. Our trainers are masters at using the equipment you already have (if any) to give you a great workout. Even if you don't have any equipment, we can bring an assortment of dumbells, resisitance tubing, medicine balls, and other portable pieces of equipment. We can even help you buy and set up equipment if you'd like to create your own home gym.

In-Condo Personal Training

* I have a gym in my condo, but it's old. How can I be sure it's good enough to work out on?
One of our trainers will come to your home to conduct your pre-program consultation and figure out if your equipment is addequate. It may be good enough to use along with portable equipment that we will bring. If not, you can always schedule sessions at our full-service facility located in South Beach.

In-Studio Personal Training

* Where is your studio located?
Our studio is located at the gym of the Mirador Condo, 1000 West Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139. All sessions are by appointment, only.

Online Personal Training

* I love the idea of online training! Can I add in-person training sessions to my program?
Yes. Adding an online training program to your in-person sessions is a GREAT way to get support for the workouts you'll be completing on your own.
